A full new smile, fixed in place

Your full smile begins with All-on-4 implants

Missing or Failing Teeth? All-on-4 Can Restore Your Whole Smile

For patients missing most or all of their teeth in an arch, removable dentures have long been the default option. All-on-4 offers a fixed alternative that looks, feels and functions like natural teeth.

Just four strategically placed implants support a full, fixed arch of replacement teeth, often using existing bone without the need for grafting, even in patients who've worn dentures for years.

We welcome All-on-4 patients from Hilton Dental Care, Perham Down, Shipton Bellinger, Ludgershall, Collingbourne Ducis and Cholderton, all just a short drive from our practice on Station Road.

All-on-4 or individual implants?

Here are five differences worth knowing before you decide. We'll go through both options at your consultation, including which one suits your needs and budget best.

At Hilton Dental Care Dental, our approachable team can discuss all the benefits of All-on-4 including:

01

Compared to replacing each tooth individually, All-on-4 uses just four implants to support a full arch, often making it more cost-effective for patients missing most of their teeth.

02

Many patients can have fixed temporary teeth fitted on the same day as surgery, avoiding a long wait without teeth.

03

All-on-4 often makes use of available bone at specific angles, meaning many patients avoid the need for bone grafting beforehand.

04

The final result is fixed in place, unlike a denture, giving many patients from Ludgershall and Perham Down back the confidence to eat and speak normally.

05

Every case is carefully planned using 3D scans and discussed with you to ensure the best possible outcome.

Is All-on-4 right for you?

All-on-4 is most often suited to patients missing most or all of their teeth in an arch. A few things need checking first, and we'd rather tell you at the consultation than partway through.

FAQs

Does All-on-4 treatment hurt?

The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic, so you won't feel it happening. Afterwards there's usually some soreness and swelling for a few days, managed with ordinary painkillers.

Will I be without teeth during treatment?

In most cases, no. A fixed temporary set of teeth is fitted on the same day as your implant surgery.

How long does All-on-4 treatment take?

Implant placement and temporary teeth are usually completed in a day, with your final fixed arch fitted a few months later once healing is complete.

Is All-on-4 available on the NHS?

All-on-4 is a private treatment and is not routinely available on the NHS.

Can I have All-on-4 if I've worn dentures for years?

Often, yes. Many patients who've struggled with loose dentures for years are good candidates, though bone levels will be checked first.

How do I look after All-on-4 implants?

Your fixed arch is cared for with regular brushing and specific cleaning tools, alongside routine hygiene visits to keep the implants healthy.

Do you treat patients outside Hilton Dental Care?

Yes, we regularly see patients travelling from Perham Down, Shipton Bellinger, Ludgershall, Collingbourne Ducis and Cholderton, all within a short drive of our Station Road practice.
