Crooked, Crowded or Gappy Teeth? We Can Help You Straighten Them
Misaligned teeth aren't just a cosmetic concern, they can make brushing, flossing and biting comfortably more difficult too. Fortunately, there's more than one way to straighten them.
Depending on your teeth and goals, options range from clear removable aligners to fixed braces, each gradually moving your teeth into a healthier, more even position over time.
We welcome teeth straightening patients from Hilton Dental Care, Perham Down, Shipton Bellinger, Ludgershall, Collingbourne Ducis and Cholderton, all just a short drive from our practice on Station Road.

Which straightening option is right for you?
Here are five differences worth knowing before you decide. We'll talk through all your options at your consultation, including which one suits your teeth, lifestyle and budget best.
At Hilton Dental Care Dental, our approachable team can discuss all the straightening options available, including:
01
Clear removable aligners are virtually invisible and can be taken out to eat and clean, making them popular with adults near Hilton Dental Care Camp and the wider garrison community.
02
Fixed braces are often better suited to more complex or severe misalignment that removable aligners can't fully correct.
03
Treatment times vary from a few months to around two years, depending on how much movement your teeth need.
04
Many patients from Ludgershall and Perham Down choose removable aligners for their day-to-day convenience around work and family life.
05
Every case is carefully planned and discussed with you to ensure the best possible outcome for your bite and smile.

FAQs
Does teeth straightening hurt?
You may feel some pressure or mild discomfort for a few days after adjustments or a new aligner, which is a sign it's working. This settles quickly and rarely needs more than ordinary painkillers.
How long does teeth straightening take?
Treatment time varies from a few months for minor corrections to around two years for more complex cases. We'll give you a personalised estimate at your consultation.
Is teeth straightening available on the NHS?
Adult teeth straightening is a private treatment and is not routinely available on the NHS, though some under-18 cases may qualify.
Will I need to wear a retainer afterwards?
Yes. Retainers are essential after any straightening treatment to stop teeth drifting back. We provide custom retainers as part of your plan.
What's the difference between clear aligners and fixed braces?
Clear aligners are removable and far less visible, while fixed braces stay on throughout treatment and can manage more complex movements.
Do you treat patients outside Hilton Dental Care?
Yes, we regularly see patients travelling from Perham Down, Shipton Bellinger, Ludgershall, Collingbourne Ducis and Cholderton, all within a short drive of our Station Road practice.
